Jane KillenBachelor of Economics (Accounting) (B.Ec (Acc)) Diploma of Financial Services (Dip. FS) Diploma of Superannuation Management (Dip. SM) Certified Practising Accountant (CPA) After graduating from the University of Adelaide in 1991, Jane joined Austrust Ltd (now Australian Executor Trustees), a trustee company offering a wide range of financial services. Having accumulated considerable experience dealing in corporate actions, direct shares and managed funds, Jane developed an interest in the increasing complexities of superannuation legislation, and began advising clients in both self-managed and corporate superannuation funds. A lifestyle change attracted Jane to Brisbane in 1998, where she joined KPMG Chartered Accountants. Ellwood Barry McPherson Pty Ltd (EBM) subsequently recruited Jane in 1999, and she was appointed as Manager of the Superannuation division. Jane’s broad understanding of financial services is complimented by her diverse skills in business administration. This paved the way for Jane to be appointed General Manager of EBM in 2002, and in 2006 she became a Shareholder and Director of the firm. Jane is responsible for managing the day-to-day aspects of the EBM business including Administration, Accounting, Information Technology, Human Resources and Compliance. Jane’s contribution provides the Advisers with greater opportunities to spend time with their clients, building relationships and understanding their needs in detail. Jane is a member of the Financial Planning Association of Australia (FPA) and is a Certified Practising Accountant (CPA).
