Ashley Davis
Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) Bachelor of Economics (B.Econ) Graduate Diploma of Applied Finance Certified Financial Planner (CFP) Ashley graduated from the University of Queensland and joined Ellwood Barry McPherson Pty Ltd (EBM) as a Paraplanner in 1997. During this time, Ashley also completed his postgraduate qualifications through the Securities Institute of Australia, and qualified as a Certified Financial Planner. To broaden his experience and to commence advising directly to clients, Ashley was recruited to a Chartered Accountancy practice in 2000. During this period, Ashley was exposed to a wide range of scenarios and strategies, and with a wealth of experience behind him, EBM was delighted to welcome him back as an Adviser in 2003. Ashley has been an active contributor to the development of EBM’s financial planning and investment philosophies. He has participated on several committees within the financial planning profession, regarding research and investment issues. Ashley is regularly approached by media groups for expert comment on current financial issues. Ashley is a member of the Financial Planning Association of Australia and an Associate member of the Securities Institute of Australia. He has also been named in the Personal Investor Top 50 Masterclass, awarded to outstanding Financial Planners across Australia.
